  • Fifteen minutes of towelling, gone

The microfibre lining does the rubbing for you while your dog wanders off and gets on with its day.

  • Five sizes, and a tape measure to pick one

A coat that fits works. A coat that does not slides sideways and gets posted back. So there is a paper tape measure in the box.

  • Your car stays dry too

The coat goes on before the dog gets in, so the water ends up in the lining instead of in the back seat.

  • On in one movement

Over the head, fasten underneath, done. No pinning a wet dog down and no second pair of hands.

The problem

The walk is not the hard part

The hard part is the fifteen minutes after it. A wet dog in the boot. A towel that is soaked through before you have finished one flank. The shake, always indoors, always next to something you care about. Then a damp dog on the sofa and a car that smells of pond for the rest of the week.

Most people do not need a better towel. They need to stop standing in the hallway holding one.

The solution

One coat, on at the boot

It goes on where the walk ends. Over the head, fasten underneath, done — no pinning a wet dog down and no second pair of hands.

The microfibre lining sits against the fur and draws the water into itself while your dog moves around. That is the part a towel cannot do, because a towel needs your hands and your dog would rather be somewhere else.

Full description

The walk is the easy part. The fifteen minutes afterwards — the towel, the shake, the wet paw prints down the hallway — is the part nobody warns you about.

The drying coat goes on where the walk ends. The microfibre lining sits against the fur and pulls the water into itself while your dog moves around, which is the part a towel cannot do, because a towel needs your hands. Coat on at the boot, off again indoors.

Why there is a tape measure in the box

Drying coats get sent back for one reason: the wrong size. A coat that is too big slides sideways and does nothing at all. So we put a paper tape measure and a size card in with every coat. Measure once, before it ever gets wet.

Size chart

Back length runs from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Chest girth is the widest point, just behind the front legs. Neck is where a collar sits. Chest girth is the measurement that decides the fit.

Size Back length Chest girth Neck
XS 25 cm 30–38 cm 20–25 cm
S 30 cm 36–44 cm 24–30 cm
M 40 cm 44–54 cm 30–36 cm
L 50 cm 52–64 cm 36–43 cm
XL 60 cm 62–76 cm 42–50 cm

Between two sizes? Take the larger one. And measure rather than going by breed — two labradors are rarely the same shape.

Questions, answered

How do I know which size to order?
Use the size chart above. Back length runs from the base of the neck to the base of the tail, chest girth is the widest point just behind the front legs, and neck is where a collar sits. Chest girth is the one that decides it. If your dog sits between two sizes, take the larger one.
What if I get the size wrong?
Measure your dog with the tape measure in the box before the coat gets wet. If it is the wrong size, tell us within 30 days and we will swap it for the right one.
Does it replace the towel completely?
For the body, largely yes. Paws, face and ears are the bits a coat cannot reach, so keep a towel by the door for those.
Can my dog wear it in the car?
That is what it is for. Coat on at the boot, dog in, drive home, coat off indoors.
Will it fit a thick-coated dog?
Measure over the coat as it is, rather than going by breed. If the chest reading lands between two sizes, take the larger one — a drying coat needs contact with the fur, not compression.
